Manchester City are already looking to replace Manuel
Pellegrini and Bayern Munich manager, Pep Guardiola is being watched by
Manchester City as they view the Spaniard as a viable replacement.
Manchester City failed to win a single trophy last season and have
not set the world alight this season despite spending over 160 million
Euros on transfers in the summer, Manuel Pellegrini might not be
retained beyond this season and Manchester City are believed to be set
to approach Guardiola with a job offer.
Guardiola who guided Barcelona to two UEFA champions league trophies
among numerous accolades he won at the Catalan club is yet to renew his
contract with Bayern Munich which runs out this season.
Guardiola has openly stated that he would love to try his hand in the
Barclays premier league and if Chelsea retain Mourinho long enough
(even though barring a miracle that is very unlikely), one of the
biggest managerial rivalries in the world could be re-ignited next
season
